Completely composed of fall off from a local Detroit furniture manufacturer the Fulton Chair is one part collage one part indestructible. Named after an upscale restaurant in Manhattan that is the owner of many pieces of ipa outdoor patio furniture from which the ipa scrap for this chair was sourced. The wood, ipa, is a wood that is native to Central and South America. It is both water proof and believe it of not fire proof. Known in the industry as ironwood ipa has a higher fireproof rating then concrete. Because of these properties it is commonly used in outdoor furniture or more commonly in the decking industry. For this reason the Fulton chair was assembled with, of course, decking screws. Leaving a beautiful olive green exposed fastener detailing throughout its composition.
