AV Bonfire Benches

In the summer of 2017 I was blessed with the opportunity to be the resident artist at the Antiochian Village under the title of Special Projects Coordinator. The biggest project I was asked to take on was the revitalization of the camps bonfire area. With coordinations between the camp director, the maintenance team and myself we were able to bring in an excavation team to level the area and pour gravel. Along with the sight preparation I designed and built 14 benches to surround the pit. The design of the legs were based off of different motifs I noticed around the camp. For instance the cross in the center is an identical match to the ones placed at the top of the iconostasis in the chapel.
